What You Need To Look For In Business-From Australia

Hi Everyone--

I apologize for interrupting the tips I was giving for starting a business.

I'm in Australia, driving up the coast from Sydney with my sister before attending a fabulous conference 6/25 in Sydney.

It's winter here, so we're seeing Australian summer vacation spots in the middle of their winter. We're getting a flavor of local hospitality and having fun driving on the "wrong" side of the road, with all the car signals backwards.

We're noticing the adventure and laughing our way as we take time to savor our time together and reflect on the magnificence of being able to vacation tax deductible (since our conference requires us to be here) and stretch our comfort zones.

In any business to be successful, we will have to stretch beyond the known in order to tap into the possibilities that 90% of the population wouldn't even consider.

It's good practice to do everything opposite from the habit. I have to be conscious to turn on the windshield wipers, rather than the turn signals and vice versa.

It's good practice to take time to enjoy our "brekkie" (breakfast), while planning out day's adventure (and getting half as far as we plan).

It's good practice to love, laugh and soak in the gratitude for the amazing blessings we have. Our first day we looked up when we heard birds singing and saw Larakeets, birds that looked like parrots with red beaks, blue heads, orange, green, yellow and red bodies. Wow. The next day we looked up hearing birds that sounded like babies crying--they were magpies.

Until next time, Sharon
